Boticca, which is the French Provencal origin of the word boutique, is an online marketplace for unique jewelry and accessories from emerging artists around the world. The marketplace is curated and edited by a group of designers, fashion experts, editors, bloggers and general design enthusiasts. Each piece you purchase from Boticca comes to you directly from the artist and you can be sure it is one of a kind. Manolo, a designer from London, became an instant favorite of mine.
I would be remiss to ignore the nuptials of Kate and William... I just saw them kiss on the balcony at Buckingham Palace and I have to admit, I got a little teary. Wrap London is a family run catalog, based out of the UK, that has been around for 30 years. Their style is simple (yet fashion forward), functional and made from the best fabrics around. I have been covered to head to foot in scarves, wool and parkas as it is only 5 degrees here, so I was drawn to thoughts of warmer weather with their cotton jersey skirts and dresses.... only 72 more days until Spring.... not that I'm counting.
Tulle has the best coats and jackets... hands down. Great colors, cuts and profiles all at pretty unbelievable prices. Check out their selection of other clothing as well... These two are only $83 and $68... not too shabby.
Who said buffalo plaid doesn't have a place in the big city? This bag looks mighty good amidst the concrete and high rises. Duluth Pack is a company that has been making luggage, totes, knapsacks and bags since 1882. All made in the USA right out of Minnesota. I read an article this past week and apparently their line has been picked up by the likes of Barney's. See, wool plaid has its place... from Barney's to the banks of Lake Superior.
