Friday - Holiday Party Wear - Poetic Licence
Are you going to any holiday parties this year? Yes? No? If you are in the YES category, will you please pocket some holiday party food for me - anything with flaky pastry in its name will be perfect. And if you are in the NO category, don't worry because the YESes will also take some food for you too - maybe mini cheesecakes? Yum!
Back to my YESes - As we know, the most important detail (minus the food) to any party...especially the holiday kind...are the shoes. They must be stunning. They must be slightly unreasonable. They must be more- money-than-I-was-planning-on-spending. And lastly, they must be works of walking art. Check. Check. Check and Check. SATURDAY - HOLIDAY - SHUTTERFLY
I am posting this early because before you know it, Christmas will be here. Get your camera and snap a few pictures of your kids, pets, family etc... Go to Shutterfly and pick out your favorite holiday card or photo Christmas card (there are literally hundreds to choose from). Order them up and you will be way ahead of the game. I know there are a ton of photo card sites out there but I have had great luck with Shutterfly. I have done calendars, photo books and several photo cards (featuring none other than my black lab of course). The quality is great, prices are fair and their turnaround time is quite impressive. I haven't selected mine yet as there are too many I like... Another great idea is the photo book. Every year I give my parents a book that chronicles our past year up at the lake in Wisconsin and it's always a hit. I'm also thinking a photo mug would be the prefect stocking stuffer. Get cracking people!

My favorite source for eco-friendly gifts is Viva Terra. Hands down the best collection. I know it's a little early, but I couldn't resist these two pieces from their holiday collection. Recycled Rover is made from tightly woven and corded recycled newspapers. Adorable. And the felted wool wreath is sure to be a holiday staple. SATURDAY - PAPER - PAPER & CAKE
