Romp, an online shop dedicated to kids and the art of play has been around since 2005. They have a special section of the site that features artist made toys and these wooden sculpted animals are nothing but breathtaking. Each is made by hand from woods like pear, walnut, beech and other european woods. The grain is taken into consideration when making each animal. A toy to treasure for many generations.

I don't remember how I stumbled on Seltzer Studios but boy am I glad I did. I immediately bookmarked it as a new favorite shop. I could probably fill a year's worth of posts just from their site but then that wouldn't really be right. So I just picked my favorite... the floating feather ornaments. Delicate feathers nestled inside handblown glass orbs bring the outside in, without all the bird poop. HA! Sold in sets of 3 or 7.

I have become a tea drinker in my quest to eliminate soda from my diet.
