I have an instant attraction to felt. I would deck out my entire home in felt if I thought people wouldn't think I was nuts. A few pieces here and there will have to appease my felt addiction. Sorry for missing out on yesterday's post.... just didn't have it in me. But today's GREEN post is the fabulous eco-friendly tote bag from Urban Junket. A blomma finds color for sure! The outside is a coated canvas material made with non toxic dyes and the inside liner is made from recycled plastic bottles. A few snaps changes the shape of the bag. $90 and comes in a whole bunch of other fun colors like magenta and chocolate.
I'm a sucker for a lot of things in life. Intriguing packaging, tea towels, table runners, anything mustard yellow and woodgrain.... whether it be faux bois or the real deal. There is something so spectacular about Shaker furniture. I don't know what it is but I think it has something to do with the clean lines and the handcrafted attention to detail. There are few who can capture it's elegant simplicity and I am so thrilled to have found Timothy Clark. A graduate of Middlebury college, he now creates absolutely gorgeous furniture like chairs, settees, beds and other case pieces. Truly heirloom furniture.
