I saw these last weekend at the very awesome Daytrip Society store in Kennebunkport, Maine (thanks for the tip Amy). I was amazed that these sunglasses are made of wood. The ultimate in eco-design, iwood creates all of their sunglasses with sustainably harvested FSC certified real wood, reclaimed from industrial veneer manufacturers. Each frame is made from more than a dozen layers of wood veneer pressed together and sealed with an eco-friendly sealant.
