Trying to pick only one thing to show out of the Syndey's collection is like trying to pick your favorite Halloween candy.... it cannot be done! Sydney Albertini, who studied in Paris and graduated from Parsons, has developed this extraordinary line of products from wallpaper to textiles to ceramics. All are inspired by organic forms, nature and a blend of country living with urban sophistication. Yes, she has managed to cram all of that into a dessert plate. Check it out.... I think I am going to have to add her products to the INSPIRATION section. Absolutely beautiful!

I am dying to see Where The Wild Things Are and have heard nothing but fantastic reviews.... anyone seen it yet? Anyway, I digress.... I ran across this monster hoodie from Polka Dot Robot and instantly thought of the movie. The movie trailer says "inside all of us is a wild thing." Express your wild thing with one of these hoodies. Moms, it is sure to be a hit at the next kids soccer game....
Every single item of clothing from Loopt Works is constructed from 100% pre consumer (never worn) excess. That means the denim, lycra, cotton, zippers, buttons and snaps were all going to be thrown away until Loopt Works got their hands on them. Limited editions obviously.... a great concept and, if you ask me, a great skirt!
