I always made my own costume when I was a kid. The best year was when I went as a box of McDonald's french fries. Of course it rained that night and was absolutely freezing and my stride was impeded by the cardboard box but hey, builds character right! If you want the easy way out, you can deck out the whole family in some very adorable stuff. Spoon Sisters, Barker & Meowsky and Chasing Fireflies are my picks! Jedi Master Yoda....cute you are so much.
At first I thought this was a cake mold.... very intimidating. Then I read on and realized its an actual CAKE that is shipped to you frozen. Amen. The witch's hat cake serves 8-10 and alternates layers of chocolate cake with devil's food chocolate filling. YUM! Centerpiece and dessert in one. Thank you Williams Sonoma.
It is Halloween week here at blomma finds! I have to admit that Halloween is not my favorite holiday but according to studies, it is for many of you so I could not neglect it. There are a gazillion options for Halloween decor but I tried to find something that did not light up, shake, screech or make sudden movements (tough to find). Improvements Catalog has these great Halloween creature stick ons.... choose from bats, rats or spiders... YUCK!
Sorry for the delay in getting today's post up! This one was an easy find... linen tea towels.... my favorite. Red Wren Designs screenprints the images from handcut stencils. I love the simplicity of the designs and of course, linen. $14 is a good price and they come from Tasmania!

Elizabeth DeHart started Fawn and Finch in 2008 when she couldn't find a pacifier clip that was cute enough and tough enough to stand up to everyday wear. Smart girl, she just started her own line. The patterns are adorable and the price is just right.... $8-$9. They are even made of eco-friendly, fray resistant linen. I hear this are a life saver.... especially when you baby loses their pacifier when your cruising down the highway at 80 mph.
