FRIDAY - WEAR - NEIKO DESIGNS

Neiko Designs' philosophy on handbags is pretty simple; simple, timeless form and function. They don't let fashio trends dictate their designs nor do they offer seasonal collections.  As they say, chairs and tables are not designed for a season but for everyday use....handbags should be no different.  The craftsmanship is evident in every bag.  Kudos to you Neiko! 

THURSDAY - GREEN - PROUD MARY

Proud Mary creates all of its products in collaboration with artisans in developing countries.  The founders, Molly and Harper, are committed to social responsibility just as much as they are committed to great design.  They offer pillows, totes and travel cases in three different fabrics... each equally beautiful.  El Sol is my favorite.   The 20" x 20" square pillow costs $100 and you can feel good about every dollar spent!

WEDNESDAY - KIDS - LINEN KIDS

You all know that I have an obsession with linen.... comes as no surprise that I fell in love with Linen Kids.  This online shop is run by Jurate, a Lithuanian mother of two, who discovered the beauty and durability of linen.  She offers linen clothing for kids (including a great selection of Christening outfits), linen toys and accessories as well as bed and bath linens.  Ships worldwide so no worries there.  Rest assured that you will not find any mass produced products here... just pure natural linen.  LOVE IT!

TUESDAY - COOK - MOSS

Nothing is worse than having warm white wine at your backyard party.  Moss Online carries this very cool Terracotta Winecooler that I love because it covers from the top down!  Unlike any other terracotta cooler I have ever seen.  Of course it's $90 but if it keeps your wine refreshing, well then it just might be worth it.  

MONDAY - HOME - ANDREW BANNECKER

Good news!  Illustrator extraordinaire Andrew Bannecker has relaunched his site and there is now a SHOP section!  YAY!!!  If we all buy his prints then maybe he'll add even more to the shop.  I've already bought Happy Joy!  Prices are reasonable too.... check it out. 

SUNDAY - INDIE - THE BUTTER FLYING

Looking to add a little whimsy to your kids room?  The Butter Flying has all you need. The Etsy shop is run by a French interior designer-product designer based out of Montreal, Canada.  Everything from the cloud mobiles of rain to the origami butterfly garland are handmade of course.  Check out her shop and BUY HANDMADE!

SATURDAY - PAPER - POM LOVE

These just make me happy.  Heaven must be full of tissue paper pom poms and puppies.  Pick from Pom Love's assortment of many colors.  Poms come with detailed instructions on how to unfurl them and a monofilament for hanging.  Each pom costs about $6 but you can get volume discounts.  Perfect for your outdoor summer garden party, wedding or birthday fete!  

FRIDAY - WEAR - DOGEARED

I bought two of these make a wish bracelets from Dogeared and I love them!  The premise is simple.  Make a wish, put on your bracelet and when it wears off your wish will come true!  I was a little skeptical how long this "string" would last but mine have been on for almost 2 months... I even wear them in the shower.  So it's been so long that I don't even remember which one was which wish.... I guess I'll know once my wishes come true!  I'll keep you posted....

THURSDAY - GREEN - SHOKAY

This is a little bit of a different post for me but I think it's worth taking a look at.  Shokay is a company that is on a mission to support Tibetan yak herders in China by introducing the yak fiber to the world.  Their purpose is four fold: 1) provide direct income for over 2,600 nomadic herders, 2) preserve local culture, 3) promote sustainable usage of the environment and 4) reinvestment and community development.  Check out their home collection or buy some yak yarn of your own!

WEDNESDAY - PETS - SCAMPER + SNOOZE

What sold me on this Four Corner's dog bed was the photo of the pet paw illustrating the memory foam that conforms to your dog's size and weight.  I love it!  Despite the "memory foam", the bed also looks like a piece of furniture you don't mind taking up space in your living room.  In fact, if it were a bit longer, wider and taller, I'm thinking it would make an ideal couch.  Check out Scamper & Snooze for the rest of the pet bed selection.
