WEDNESDAY - KIDS - ENFANT TERRIBLE

Inkebirdhouse lamp

Is there anything more precious than this birdhouse light for a nursery?  No, there is not.  Enfant Terrible is an amazing little website that has the most unique products by designers like Pia Wallen, Inke (the birdhouse above) and Tamar Mogendorff.  According to their site, they are the only place in North America to carry the birdhouse.  CRAZY!  Their site is truly a treat!

TUESDAY - COOK - FRED FLARE

Recipe journal

I've tried everything to organize recipes.... there's the manila folder full of epicurious.com printouts, the cheesy recipe box with index cards (most of which are blank), the binder with pages and pages of Martha Stewart Living magazine favorites, and the ever so popular, call mom and dad and write it down on a random piece of paper never to be heard from or seen again.  OR you can get this adorable recipe organizer from Fred Flare.  Complete with color coded stickers, tab dividers and 4x6 cards.... now that's being organized.

SUNDAY - INDIE - LUPIN

Lupin pansy brooch

Lupin is a wonderful little shop run by a young woman from England.  According to her profile she drinks a lot of tea, likes cake and is obsessed with felt.  Aside from the fact that those little character bits are so charming, she is an amazing artist.  She sells FUN brooches, like the pansy one above, which goes for only $18, garlands, mobiles, disguises, pincushions and all other sorts of felt items.  Don't let the UK thing scare you from ordering, shipping is a mere $5!  Add a little color to your wardrobe and BUY HANDMADE!

SATURDAY - OUTDOOR - OLIVE BARN

Wasp trap

Memorial Day weekend is here which means we all emerge from our holes and start talking to the neighbors again.  It also means that other creatures start emerging from their holes again too... i.e. WASPS and BEES!  Sure to ruin your outdoor eating and syrupy sweet beverage drinking fun.  Thankfully these hand-blown wasp traps from Olive Barn should help.  Just pour in a little sugar water, sit back and commiserate with the neighbors again.

FRIDAY - WEAR - JANE, INC.

Jane inc eye pillow

Ahhhh... it's Friday.  After you have had your TGIF cocktails (not too many of course) go home and head off to dreamland with the help of Jane Inc's Herbal Dream Pillow.  The linen pouch stuffed with herbs like flax seeds, lavendar, chamomile, mugwort (Harry Potter?) and peppermint are sure to soothe.  Not sure if they are better at stress reduction than the cocktail but they might just help with the headache in the morning.  Sweet dreams!

Yellow soft bowl

Giggle Fish Gifts is a great little website dedicated to bringing you green gifts for a happy planet.  Such as the yellow beehive SoftBowl which is made in Philadelphia by one of the last remaining millineries in the United States.  The decorative bowl is made from 100% molded wool.  Use it as a storage container, a decorative plant holder or even a fruit holder.  The best part about the SoftBowl is that it requires only 1/10 of the energy needed to create the same size ceramic bowl.  Not a bad deal... oh, speaking of deals... this one is on sale now for $21!!!
