The company is run out of California but they donate shoes around the globe. They cost $42 but remember, a pair will be given away so think of it as a donation. THURSDAY - GREEN - BOTANICAL PAPERWORKS
I am amazed at the ingenuity of people. Botanical Paperworks is a company founded by a mother and daughter team out of Canada. They sell amazing plantable stationery and cards that have wildflower seeds embedded in the paper. Simply toss the card in a pot of soil, cover it with another thin layer of soil, water well and in 6-8 weeks you will have wildflowers! Poppies, Snap Dragons, Coreopsis, Bird's Eye.... Oh my.... The Designer Series of stationery is by far the best product design wise. They also have birth announcements, shower invitations, wedding favors and journals. Now go sow your seeds! Um, I mean wildflower seeds of course.

WEDNESDAY - KIDS - TINY DODO
This fantastic little invention is the Sack N' Seat!!! How clever is this? No longer do you have to lug a high chair around or use the sticky nasty ones at restaurants. You just slip the back over any old chair... strap in your kid (um... make sure they can sit up on their own) and you have an instant high chair! Check it out! Sack N' Seat ... only $31 (play the international exchange rate game and perhaps you could get it for less!) The rest of Tiny Dodo's site (which is run by two Dutch dads) is pretty cool as well.

Farmhouse Wares is a little gem of a website I found while searching for Potluck Studios pottery (which will be featured soon!). This website is dedicated to clean, simple and comfortable living. The wooden nesting bowls are made of plantation sourced mango wood with a subtle whitewash finish. The image of these bowls and the vase full of hydrangeas just evokes the whole mission of the company... simplicity. This very intelligent duo, Jessica Eve Rosencrantz and Jesse Louis-Rosenberg, have created a line of jewelry that truly blends art and science. They used mathematical algorithms to generate random patterns that are then used to etch the pieces out of stainless steel, gold and even silicone. FRIDAY - WEAR - TULLE
Very rarely do I find a clothing retailer that claims to be HIP and FUNKY yet offers clothing a reasonable person would actually wear. Tulle is just that. It only takes a couple minutes of browsing to realize that this may be a site you should bookmark. I often have this inner war between Trendy Girl and Practical Girl. Trendy Girl says "Wear the mod polka dot peasant shirt to work". After an uncomfortable commute to work with all eyes on said shirt, Practical Girl says "Get to Target, buy black turtleneck sweater, and throw away shirt". With Tulle, Trendy Girl and Practical Girl can live in harmony.

So calling flowers eco-friendly or green seems like a no-brainer right? Thanks to Organic Style I have learned that not all flowers are organic. HUH? Since 2001, Organic Style (also known as Organic Bouquets) has been offering sustainably grown flowers from their partner farms. Growing flowers in a way that is gentle on the environment, wildlife and farm workers is their goal. Their packaging is all eco-friendly and they have a carbon offset program. Oh how I love Pattern & Paw! This is the BEST source of ribbon collars and leashes for your pets and trust me, I have looked at many many collars. The collars come in sizes for cats, toy dogs, small, medium, large and extra large breeds. I checked out the BIG DOG collar section and there were 74 options! Bondo (my black lab) has a birthday 3/26 and the "Fire" collar is mighty cute...and pretty reasonable at only $18.50... Pattern & Paw is run by Lindsay, a very crafty gal from Tennessee.
