MONDAY - HOME - COE & WAITO

Coewaito_vases

Coe & Waito is a very cool duo of artists, Alissa Coe and Carly Waito, who met while studying industrial design.  They joined forces after college and have been turning out these beautiful pieces of porcelain since 2004 in their studio in Toronto, Canada.  Their site states that they want to "create quiet objects that can have a deep and lasting impact."  I don't know if they are really that quiet.... can't you hear them?  They are saying "we would look so good on your mantle... buy us.... buy us."

SUNDAY - INDIE - MAIDEN LOVE

Maiden_love_elephant

Maiden Love is an etsy shop that features these precious stuffed elephants all designed and handcrafted by Maya.  I have purchased one of these elephants for a friend's baby and I have to say, it was A D O R A B L E.  Maya works with you on your color palette to determine what vintage fabrics she will use and each one is custom made.  They are stuffed with pure wool and a hint of lavender sure to put their recipient in a pleasant mood.  Maya even donates a portion of each elephant sale to The Circuses Fund.  Please support Maiden Love and buy handmade.

SATURDAY - OUTDOOR - GRDN

Grdn_pot

The sun is shining and the crocus are blooming!  The time to garden is almost here! YAY!!!  Check out GRDN for a few basic gardening needs and some pretty things for your kitchen and bath too.  I was immediately drawn in by their logo and the amazing photography on their site... like this terra cotta English pot, aged in a greenhouse to give it that mossy texture.  I have a sudden urge to go dig in dirt.

This delicate little butterfly ring is the work of  Mixko, a London based design team comprised of Alex Garnett and Nahoko Koyama.  Their mission is to design products that inspire happiness.  These felt rings come in all sorts of colors and are anchored to a clear acrylic band.  You can find them at 2Jane for only $13!!!  HAPPINESS!!! HAPPINESS!!!

THURSDAY - GREEN - STUDIO 1 AM

Cork_cuff

Who knew that cork could be so lovely.  This cuff from Studio 1 a.m. (a design studio out of Chicago) is made entirely from recycled cork.... which apparently is very flexible AND water resistant.  I would imagine you probably would be safe from any allergic reaction as well.  Cork, the new platinum perhaps?

WEDNESDAY - PETS - BARKER & MEOWSKY

Fatboy_doggie_lounge

Fatboy!  What a fantastic name, no?  Barker & Meowsky is a gem of a pet store with tons of unique products for your cat or dog, like the fatboy doggielounge. The bed comes in small and large in a whole lot of colors like lime green, hot pink, orange, black, brown and yes, even camo.  The nylon fabric is easy to wipe clean... no mention of a chew test but chances are if you wait until puppyhood is over you'll probably be safe.  FYI - fatboy also makes these wonderful bean bag alternatives for children and adults.  Check out their company site at fatboyusa.com.

TUESDAY - COOK - CLIO

Clio_home_decanter

Oh how I wish I lived in Soho for the day so I could go and visit CLIO.  They are an ecletic housewares store that luckily sells a few things online like this adorable handmade milk pitcher from London (only $21 ).  They carry lots of products that are made in Denmark, Germany, France... Brooklyn.  Take a peak!

MONDAY - HOME - MODERN TWIST

Vinotags_modern_twist

Stole this idea from a friend who had these at her New Year's Eve party.... Modern Twist makes these great drink markers which are not your run of the mill rings with beads and charms and such.  They are made of silicone so you can actually write on them with a ball point pen and erase (perhaps keep tally of how many glasses of wine you have had....)  They come as a set of six in all different color and pattern assortments for $14.  There are available at lots of retailers but Modern Twists site has the best info.  Oh, added bonus, they can also be used as napkin rings!

SUNDAY - INDIE - SKINNY LAMINX

Skinnylaminx_tea_towel

First and foremost.... HAPPY EASTER to all!  Today's INDIE post comes from Cape Town, South Africa!  Skinny laMinx creates the most beautiful tea towels (again with my tea towel obsession), aprons and decorative pillows using these simple graphics.  Her color palette is amazing!  The images are screen printed on hopsack cloth (highly absorbent for drying dishes) with water based ink.  They are a steal at $11 and she even donates $1 of every spoon themed on line sale to a charitable organization.  Now, back to washing those Easter dinner dishes!

SATURDAY - OUTDOOR - NOT NEUTRAL

Notneutral_garden

I want!  I want!  I want!  NotNeutral's metal lanterns shed a beautiful light from their Moroccan/Mexican inspired pattern of tiny pin holes.  The lanterns come in three sizes and three colors (black, red or white).  They would be ideal to illuminate a porch, deck, pathway, beach, outdoor table... they can even be hung from a tree!  Just place the candles inside, light and you have a truly beautiful addition to your backyard.
